Guess what..... our poor little chicks.... have suffered a tragedy.... it seems that a coon or the likes managed to pry its way into our chicken coop...... and only 14 of the 37 survived.... (*sob*, *anguish*, *knashing of teeth*).... poor Christie....
My cousin Bree had her baby on Tuesday! She went into labor on Monday. Mom, Christie, and I went up (San Antonio) Monday afternoon. NEVER HAVE YOUR BABIES IN HOSPITALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (unless of course, its an emergency or health issue, but if that is not the case, there is no excuse)........... When she was 4 centimeters (10 cent is when the baby comes out) they gave her an epidural (a drug which causes her to lose all feeling from waist down) which slowed down the labor (even though the deceiving nurse told her it would do no such thing). If she hadn't taken it, she probably would have had the baby within 2 hours... but, no, the docters had to interfere! By 8:00 Tuesday morning, they had convinced her that the baby was 9 lbs 5 ounces (big baby), that her head was tilted back (they have to be tilted forward to birth), that she was way too high, and that the only thing left to be done was a C-section.... (EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) The baby turned out to be 7 lbs 1 ounce! And mom noticed (after she was "born") that her head seemed kinda pointed.... which means, THAT SHE WAS IN THE BIRTH CANAL WHEN THEY DID THE C-SECTION!!!!!!!! DECEIVERS!!!!!!!!!! (by the way, I've written a paper on home births vs. hospital births... if you want to know how I really feel). The C-section was at 10:00 AM .... and Bree didn't get to hold her baby til THAT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!! Those brutish medical staff. (Now don't get me wrong.... docters have their place, like when some boy falls off a cliff and breaks his back... but they have NO business delivering babies!!!!!!!!!!) Now Mommy and Baby are home... thank yall for praying....
