How did the baby-sitting go last night for everyone? Did yall's parents have a good time at the party? I haven't had a chance to talk to mine...they and John left at the crack of dawn this morning for an HCYA Graduation meeting.
We watched the new Pride and Prejudice while they were gone last night (my siblings are easy to babysit :) I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
I can't wait til the ball-practice tonight! Amo bailar!!! (someone besides John tell me what that means!)
Didn't one of the Watkins have a game last night? How did that go?
See most of yall tonight

Alrighty people!!! Time to raise the roof!! Last, our whole family got in our HEATED hot-tub and had an absolute blast!! It was so much fun!!!! Then we (John and I) would jump in the freezing -10 degrees water and then get back in the hot-tub.....that can't be good for us, but we had an awesome time doing it!! I can't begin to tell you how COLD it was!! Like ice! But we had the hot-tub at 104 degrees, thus, we still have the use of our limbs.
I can't wait til summer!!!
My mom and Dad left at the crack of dawn this morning for a "planning weekend" and probably won't be back until Sunday afternoon. >:) >:) >:) I feel this incredible urge to make some cookies, or cornbread, or pancakes, or something!!! After we get the little bit of work we have to do finished, we're all going to plop down in one big pile and watch a movie! Then I suppose we (being the good kids we are) will clean up the house or something.... though I'm really the only kid who favors that idea. Then I suppose we will watch another movie! Oh, this is so fun!!!
Still don't know if we'll be at church, probably won't know until Sat night or Sunday morning.
"There's a bunch of hitting over here if yall want to join in " - Daniel Boriack....this morning, John Daniel and Josiah were fighting in the bed while Christie and I were trying to get a few more minutes of sleep. It didn't work. Earlier this morning, like around 7, Daniel, Christie, and Josiah all came in my room, started plyaing my guitar, turn all the lights on, played ring tones from John's phone in my ear. Only, it wasn't Brooke in the bed, it was an extremely vicious bed monster! I won't go into detail...for the sake of any little kids reading this thing....
Hopefully see most of yall Sunday...

Sadly, it looks like we'll be staying home from Church again.... we've mananged to stay healthy from the virus that seems to be taking over the whole congregation, and Mom wants to keep it that way.
So who all has been struck by this unfortunate illness? Please leave a comment saying if and how many in your family have been a victim....
Also, for the HBF people.... I won't be at church to discuss the group blog thing. In fact, there may be several people home due to sickness. If there are enough people, yall can talk about it and let me know. If not, there is always next Sunday. Or we could just hold a email conversation... yall's choice.
My dear Theodore (second to last toe on the right foot) has been bitten by something... and he's all swollen. This occured last night... and I woke up this morning to find that Cassandra (middle toe, left foot) is behaving the same way.... sounds mysterious to me.... it seems we have some form of spider in our house or something... creepy thought.

Desperately, helplessly, longingly I cried,
Quietly, patiently, lovingly God replied.
I plead and I wept for a clue to my fate,
And the Master so gently said,
"Child, you must wait."
"Wait? You say, wait!?" my indignant reply,
"Lord, I need answers, I need to know why.
Is your hand shortened? Or have you not heard?
By faith, I have asked, and am claiming your Word.
My future and all to which I can relate
Hangs in the balance, and You tell me to wait?
I'm needing a 'yes,' a go-ahead sign.
Or even a 'no' to which I can resign.
And Lord, You promised that if we believe,
We need but to ask, and we shall receive.
Lord, I've been asking, and this is my cry,
I'm weary of asking! I need a reply!"
Then quietly, softly, I learned of my fate,
As my Master replied once again, "You must wait."
So, I slumped in my chair, defeated and taut,
And grumbled to God, "So, I'm waiting...for what?"
He seemed then, to kneel,
And His eyes wept with mine,
And He tenderly said, "I could give you a sign.
I could shake the heavens, and darken the sun.
I could raise the dead, and cause the mountains to run.
All you seek, I could give, and pleased you would be.
You would have what you want -
But you wouldn't know Me.
You'd not know the depth of my love for each saint;
You'd not know the power I give to the faint;
You'd not learn to see through the clouds of despair;
You'd not learn to trust jsut by knowing I'm there.
You'd not know the joy of resting in Me;
When darkness and silence were all you could see.
You'd never experience that fullness of love
As the peace of my spirit descends like a dove.
You'd know that I give and I save, for a start,
But you'd not know the depth of the beat of my heart,
The glow of my comfort late into the night,
The faith that I give when you walk without sight,
The depth that's beyond getting just what you asked
Of an infinite God, who makes what you have last.
You'd never know, should your pain quickly flee,
What it means that, "My grace is sufficient for thee."
Yes, your dreams for your loved one
Overnight would come true
But, oh the loss! If I lost what I'm doing in you!
So, be silent, my child, and in time you will see,
That the greatest of gifts is to get to know Me.
And though oft' may my answers seem terribly late,
My most precious answer of all is still, "wait."
