The Miss Brooke Anna of the House of Boriack in the Land of Tomball spends her life in a variety of pastimes. These include homeschooling (including History, Literature, Geography, Algebra 2, Blasted Biology, Composition-Writing, Spanish, Logic, and so forth) and spending lengthy amounts of time expanding her skill on the piano. She enjoys spending her spare time creating costumes, dancing, writing, and above all, reading. In fact, a good amount of her un-spare time is also spent reading. Though she is not usually the "sports" type, she managed to kick the soccer ball through someone's (I shall be kind enough not to mention his name)legs last Sunday! She has also recently managed to bake a batch of cookies without snitching any!!!!! (Let's hear it for Brooke!!!). She also has a passionate love for good movies... good movies, mind you.. not all that trashy stuff! A little more information on the mysterious life she leads can be found if you click on her picture... though most of it still remains a mystery.
Literature is my Utopia. Here I am not disenfranchised. No barrier of the senses shuts me out from the sweet, gracious discourses of my book friends. They talk to me without embarrassment or awkwardness. ~Helen Keller
But when a young lady is to be a heroine, the perverseness of forty surrounding families cannot prevent her. Something must and will happen to throw a hero in her way. ~Jane Austen
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
"Charm is deceitful and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised" Proverbs 31:30
"There is only one thing to do with such a disagreeable person as she.... I must throw a party for her!" ~Jane Austen
"Vanity and pride are different things, though the words are often used synonymously. A person may be proud without being vain. Pride relates more to our opinion of ourselves; vanity, to what we would have others think of us." Jane Austen
"I do not want people to be agreeable, as it saves me that trouble of liking them" Jane Austen
"His house was perfect, whether you liked food, or sleep, or work, or story-telling, or singing, or just sitting and thinking, best, or a pleasant mixture of them all." J.R.R. Tolkien
"It's a dangerous business going out your front door" J.R.R. Tolkien
When all I have is on the floor Divided, divided When I'm a world away from peace Behind Your eyes is where I know I'll find it, I'll find it Cause who You are defines my dreams
You already take me there Heaven in the here and now
When I'm a broken-hearted man Complacent and tired When I've been knocked out of the race I've been a fool for long enough To fight it, to fight it It's in Your arms I find my place
You meet me where I am Forgive where I am
Where I lose myself in grace (Where I'm lost and found) I want to lose myself in grace Let Your love reign down all over me Cover me
My courteousness is actually very bold. And in being so bold it decided that ya'll might enjoy some wonderful lyrics written by the best. But since you have asked it to stop it will stop but only after one more chorus which has defined my day.
Its not the end The end of the World Its just another day Depending on grace No it's not the end The end of the world It's just another day So don't sleep it all away
now I will stop until I see it fit and courteous to begin again.
well your not everybody. So when the majority of the people think it 'fit and courteous' I will do it again. Until then, "have yourself a merry little christmas, er, I mean day"
